www.FoodForThoughtMarketing.com is the online home of Food For Thought Marketing Consultants, a Centerville based business owned by Bob Goldberg that helps local businesses get more media coverage through newspapers.

Unfortunately, when he came to us, Bob's website was a mess and was nowhere to be found online. He didn't even show up by Googling his own name!

We did a complete rebuild of the site. In a few short weeks, Bob was at the top of the first page of Google. Bob get several new clients from the site, which more than covered his investment.

Kate Scarpero is a Licensed Massage Therapist based in Centerville, Ohio. We built her online presence from the ground up, starting with her website.

After completion of the website, we got Kate listed in Google Places and numerous online review directories. We also helped Kate get some reviews. Having positive reviews on Google Places helped tremendously. Many of Kate's clients mentioned that they called because they saw a positive review about Kate's business on Google Places.

Additionally, we added a coupon to Kate's website and require that the client enter their email address before downloading the coupon. This builds Kate's email list. Now, Kate can send out an email blast with coupons and announcements to her existing clients anytime she wants.

Kate's site consistently ranks on the first page of Google and Bing for the phrase "Centerville, Ohio massage." However, we wanted to make sure that she gets as much traffic as she can, so we added in a Google Adwords pay per click campaign to capture additional traffic. We got the clicks to Kate's website for under 50 cents each and the campaign easily paid for itself within the first month.

When we started the site, it was simply a place to submit our own articles. As we grew the site, we invited local business owners to submit content in exchange for a link and many businesses took us up on our offer.

As the site grew, we found that it needed a business directory. Now, any Dayton area business can be included in our directory for free.

Next we added a podsast. This is our local weekly interview show where we showcase a variety of locally based business owners.

Finally, we added a meetup group. This is a free group that meets once a month on the third Tuesday at 11:360 am at The Chop House in Centerville.

Dayton Contractor Network is our local contractor referral directory. We connect Dayton area homeowners who are looking for a contractor with a locally based, reliable and licensed home improvement contractor.

The contractor gets leads at a great price and the homeowner gets work done by someone they can trust. It's a real win-win. Typically, contractors are added to the network at little or no up front cost and they simply pay us for qualified leads generated.

We use SEO and PPC tactics to promote the site and it is consistently on the first page of Google in a variety of home improvement categories.
