Many people ask me if they should be using pay per click programs like Google Adwords when they are planning on doing Search Engine Optimization. My personal opinion is to do both.
Google Adwords is by far the largest pay per click network out there and it’s a good one to start with. Google is pretty aggressive with giving out Adwords $100 discount coupons. That’s right, with these coupons you can get $100 in free clicks.
The first way that I’ve found is through my hosting company. Hostgator recently sent me an Adowrds coupon in the mail without me asking. Getting these is a great bonus but a little unpredictable. If you get one, save it.
You can also get Adwords coupons from VistaPrint. I recently bought business cards and sure enough, there was an Adwords coupon when I checked out.
The third way is quite easy. Submit your site to Google Maps. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, Google Maps is simple easy traffic.
By the way, Adwords coupons are traded a lot on Ebay. If you can’t find a coupon with the above methods or have an extra on, Ebay is a great place to go.
Once you have your coupon, you don’t want to neglect your SEO on your website. The big pay per click services like Google Adwords and Yahoo use something called “quality score” to determine your click price. They want the ads to be as relevant as possbile for their users. If your Search Engine Optimization is good, then your click price will go down.
I like to use pay per click for keywords that I know are good for me, but this site doesn’t necessarily rank well for. For example, this site ranks quite well for “Dayton SEO” and “Dayton SEO Services.” However, it doesn’t rank very well yet for “Dayton Ohio SEO” because I haven’t done a lot to optimize it for that phrase yet. Therefore, I added “Dayton Ohio SEO” to my pay per click campaign to capture that traffic. Then we have the tons of suburb names. We’ve got “Centerville Ohio SEO,” “Beavercreek Ohio Search Engine Optimization” and so on.
I use a free program called Good Keywords that puts keyword phrases together for me. I found over 400 keyword phrases just by combining local Ohio city names with the best words to find my site. There’s no way to easily optimize a site for all those keywords, so pay per click is the perfect solution.

Carlos was able to affordably transform my web site from "just being there" to getting me to the top of important search engines in just a couple of weeks. My leads have improved dramatically!!

Many thanks. I’m always focused on items and information on web-site search engine optimization. You don’t know where you’ll discover a cutting edge strategy (well, new to me at least). Even though there are always fundamental Search engine optimisation strategies, a tiny fine-tune here and there, and your site will receive significantly better search positions. If you are using WordPress getting the right plug ins along with a good quality premium template can help your Seo. It’s also important and vital to keep up to date with the modifications in search engine algorithms. All the best
