Hey Carlos,
Well written article you have here.
One small correction on the "send out updates by email to your fans"…that's not actually how it works.
With a fan page the messages you send out to your fans go through Facebook's "notification" system which means your messages will NOT end up in your fans Facebook inbox…it will end up in their notifications.
If you set up a "group" for your business you can use the Facebook email system and it will go to their Facebook inbox.
